Grid Domain Presets

Actually, this is not a preset compilation for Grid Domain Fluids but I think could help to understand better some parameters.

These comparatives have several years, I did them in the Next Limit days with RealFlow5 (beta) , but I think nothing changes drastically from then.

  1. hello sir, i am working on realflow’s grid fluid.. i simulated a wave and the file became very heavy, the file itself is of around 1.5 gb and the whole simulation with foam and splash is off 185 gb.. when i tried to reopen the file its not loading… i have bin particles of splash and foam but for domain i have .gdc files only… is it possible to load these gdc files in another projecta s i have to make the .bin file from these.. have to use in krakatoa… thank u soo much….

    • By now it is not possible to load gdc files in any application, but you could use the bin file exporter script published in this blog to convert gdcs into bin files.

  3. Sir do i have to open that file and then use this script as my file is not loading and when i try to opn it my pc is getting hang.. so can i make a new project and use this script and thn it can make gdc file to bin?

    • If yoour pc is getting hang it is possible the gdc file would be huge. How much memory do you use?
